Growing up in Chicago, Suzanne first studied mathematics and then received her MBA from the University of Chicago while working full time as a computer systems designer. Despite a successful career, her passion for the culinary arts soon led her in a new direction.
For years, she has been studying and traveling with renowned chefs and food historians, the Culinary Institute of America and the International Association of Culinary Professionals as a Certified Culinary Professional. Her travels have taken her across Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Asia and beyond.
In addition to writing for culinary newspapers and magazines, Suzanne is the proprietor of Cuisine by Suzanne and brings a vast wealth of knowledge to the classes she teaches. Suzanne caters to a wide range of clients in Seattle and her truffles can be ordered on her website.
